Hosttech
As a web hosting provider, hosttech operates its own server and data centre infrastructure. At each of its two locations, Wädenswil and Nottwil, hosttech has its own data centre location. Data processing between hosttech GmbH and WHES is governed by an order processing agreement in accordance with Art 9 DSG.
Matomo
Matomo, formerly Piwik, is an open source web analytics platform that supports local data collection. By visiting the provider's website, information about the access can be stored. All data does not belong to personal data, but is anonymised.
The data is used exclusively for statistical analysis purposes and for user optimisation. The data will not be passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. The provider expressly points out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) is subject to security gaps and cannot be completely protected against access by third parties. When contacting us voluntarily, the data provided will be stored in our database. This data will only be used for the intended purpose and will be treated as strictly confidential. The newsletter is sent using the dispatch service provider 'MailChimp', a newsletter dispatch platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with the CH-US data protection level (PrivacyShield). The shipping service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and an order processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 DSGVO. However, WHES does not assume any warranty or liability in this regard.
The dispatch service provider may use the recipients' data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assigning it to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes.
