At over two metres high, the St.Gall terrestrial and celestial globe is an impressive work of art.
It not only shows what was known about the geography of heaven and earth 500 years ago, but also tells of conquests, fantastic sea creatures, mythological places and people. This world on the globe is discovered together after an exploration of the Abbey Library.
